Equine massage is one of the oldest forms of therapy. Cultures have used it since ancient times. The Chinese, Romans, Native Americans, and more practiced forms of equine massage.

Massage is a cooperative modality to
veterinary medicine and is never a substitute
for it!

Therapeutic massage is used to promote general wellbeing. It helps to boost the circulatory and immune systems, encouraging increased circulation,
improved muscle tone, improved digestion, and improved skin tone. It can greatly contribute to relaxing the nervous system.

Increase Blood Circulation

Massage helps to encourage blood vessels to open, which
increases circulation. Each cell and fiber in the body must be
continually bathed in fresh, oxygen-rich blood. This blood
brings nutrients, oxygen, proteins, etc. necessary for healthy
cell growth and function.

Increase Lymph Movement

Lymphatic fluid, or lymph, is the clear fluid that contains
white blood cells. White blood cells are the workforce of the
immune system. Lymph does not have a pump in the way that
the blood has the heart. Massage is one of the ways that
lymph moves through the lymphatic system.

Get to Know Us

We all know horses can change us for the better. They do some much for us. Far beyond just riding or working.

I thought the student horses could at the local stable could use a massage. I went to Rocky Mountain School for Animal Acupressure and Massage to learn how.

That decision changed my life and set Kristin and I on a bold endeavor. We love ranch life. We love horses. Helping them be their best and feel their best is our mission.

The education is never ending. It started with anatomy and massage. That lead to acupressure and Chinese Medicine.  Our horses Digger and Bella lead to learning myofascial release and supplements. Each discipline compliments the other. Allowing us to give each individual horse what he or she needs.
